1. Since you know, we had the opportunity to share virtual spaces and more recently, to experience a brief experience of team work on-line, Do you share with us as this experience was for you?

To be frank, I joined the "virtual world" was driven by circumstances. My link in the past with global companies led me to keep on-line contact with colleagues from different continents ... This type of communication allowed us to align goals, share best practices, communicating tough decisions and, ironically, to establish fraternal ties that bound when it eventually had the opportunity to meet personally.

These experiences aroused concern me start exploring the Internet and in doing so I stumbled on Linkedin, which opened up a space for learning and an opportunity to share my experience and views. Today, on LinkedIn I found a community that collaborates and exchange of experiences. For example, I announced the launch of Workshop: Find the Job you deserve! in Mexico City and Puebla Cholula , events for which many people have shown interest in participating, but more amazing is that other parts of the world have asked me the opportunity to exchange experiences, thus enriching practices each place in their country. This is work linked.

Notwithstanding indicated earlier, to start collaborating on Linkedin observed that did not satisfy my concerns learning, so I continued my search and I found Emagister, space covering other needs, but never beating Linkedin. However, I can say that I have established a series Emagister link (ours started there), they never stop being a source of inspiration.

I should add that about a year ago opened my wife and son-in against my will, a Face Book account in my name. At first I ignored, did not understand its purpose and it seemed a huge waste of time. Later, do not ask me why, and he became addictive the need to post comments, replicate those of my family and friends, but an analysis of my time management, I decided to close it ... This was a blow to my 14-year-old said: "Dad, do not close your Face Book because it is a "time capsule" that I share with my children ... Father (¿¿¿???) indulgent, I saw him turn, but on a limited basis.


I can also point out that my addiction to the virtual interaction is such that I have accounts Xing, Viadeo, I have Skype, MSN and started my blog a few weeks ago. Such tools have allowed me make my practice of Coaching and Consulting eventually DO, with significant economic benefits for my coaches, clients and a server.


In sum, while we do not lose perspective and continue to recognize that physical contact is essential, on-line participation is an instrument with an immeasurable value that we still have much to learn and use.


2. Some believe that teamwork is good for all purposes, what is your opinion?

From my point of view, teamwork is rewarding at any level, but it depends largely on the openness and flexibility of those on the team. I also believe that at some point in the chain or the process - I know this is going to be controversial - the final decision to a single individual.

Maybe I can illustrate my point with an example:


One of my clients hired me to teach a course on interview skills for a team of Regional Sales Coordinators. This client has a motorcycle chain that covers all of Mexico, but to my surprise, during the event identified that all the regional coordinators were located in one location instead of being located in the region that corresponded to attend. Thus, at the end of the course, I was invited to meet to share my observations with the President, the Director General and National Sales Manager of the organization.



During the meeting I made the suggestion to assign coordinators as corresponding and, although after doing economic analysis, the Director General and National Sales Manager agreed on the importance of making this move and expressed the relevance of having the job, retired President for a few minutes on his return reported that the position would disappear immediately, with the consequent dismissal of those who occupied it. Despite the teamwork, the final decision was of an individual.


3. Spinning your current interest such as job search is that we deserve and teamwork Do you think it is a single occupancy or teamwork could enhance the achievement of it?

When we talk about teamwork, we refer to all employees who may be involved in this situation and with them we mean the family support system, social, professional expertise in the subject ...



We understand that while we have a job, our routine is set: I get up at some time, I shower, go to work, back, interacting with the family, etc. However, to break this routine, we enter into an asynchronous process.


One day we got up early, we went to the Internet to seek employment or Face Book, we talk with friends, going to party, drink coffee, another day we woke up late because we disclose it, drank too much, spend on excess, among many other deviations that occur during this space. Taking a break for a week or two, especially financially there are no problems, not bad, but the problem is when it begins to affect situation emotionally and harms those in our environment.


How to solve it?
First, as unemployed must recognize that our situation is not unique, we have a valuable support system which is our family, friends and relations, but first and foremost we must understand that it is essential that we seize the opportunity to define, if we do, our vision, mission, values \u200b\u200band personal goals in all areas of our lives: health, emotions, spirit, family, friends, profession, etc.


Secondly, and this is where it incorporates the social and family support, we talk to them pointing out what our situation, our purpose and we need them, in principle, respect for our space staff to fulfill the role we have and, moreover, we ask them to avoid fatalism or pessimism ... When I impart workshops or coaching on job search, I make two suggestions which I believe are critical and require the cooperation of others: first, each person must understand that "the use of an unemployed person is seeking employment, but what companies are looking for solutions, satisfiers, value added, so that each person should be seen as "the solution "and must identify your brand. What distinguishes it? What makes it remarkable? How do you define two or three words? You are quite right, teamwork has neither boundaries nor borders.

In 2005 an earthquake of 8.1 ° badly damaged the capital of my country. 1 .- Gustavo, your consulting model, points to the teams as organized systems which are required to pay special attention, in your experience as a consultant, enabling business owners to form new entrepreneurs and promoting emprendurismo How valuable is the work and equipment for these organizations?

Cristman First I want to thank you offer me the opportunity to talk business issues. However, it is important to first define what is a computer and can be found in the dictionary: "A group of people doing the same work in an organized manner."

live very interesting times: it is abuzz with talk of "social networking" ... creating new jobs that did not exist 5 years ago ... the leaders of some companies around the world and look askance teleworking or remote working ... so many things that at some point we considered "science fiction", now are part of our everyday life ... and we have not seen anything ...

Are we prepared to manage teams in a world where Facebook and Twitter are everywhere?
One of the biggest challenges is that the vast majority of business leaders and teams still take the power of social networks ... the other side of the coin is that new employees of companies are young people born in the early 90s that have developed a series of "digital competence" that enables them to handle very well a set of "web 2.0 tools" that their leaders still do not understand how they work, the result can be disastrous in management organizations and has had a huge digital divide between "bosses" and "collaborators."

particular, I am very concerned that organizations are moving within a framework of "white or black" set some absolute prohibitions on the use of social networks while others allow a completely open ... Lo interesante: esta aplicación fue co-desarrollada por Rudess y un ingeniero durante un poco más de seis meses...Rudess y el ingeniero se conocieron “en persona” unas semanas antes del lanzamiento de la aplicación en la iTunes Store de Apple...durante el período de desarrollo de la aplicación sólo mantuvieron contacto de forma virtual (correo electrónico y chat, principalmente)...¿el resultado? Diigo : your favorite pages stored in the cloud ... has a networking tool that is useful for sharing information between different members of a team and to help you develop ideas together.

Anyway, these are just four general ideas could be implemented to enhance the performance of a team whose members share the same geographic location.

Probably, some people argue that such collaborative work spaces "dehumanize" the teams ... I believe just the opposite: the emotional part of people is always important ... there is nothing that can replace the passion that a person committed to a cause brings to a team.
