How To Fix Torn Sofa Seam

Written in the cloud, social networks and teams

Dressed best costumes to dress up our Carnival celebrations, we went on holiday and that was the reason we were not with you on Monday ... More

as usual, when not Monday, then will be on Thursday ... so today we are with you to share an interesting topic.

In our day to day, we spend so much time connected to the network and more than once we have interacted and probably even developed a team like this, without even realizing it.

This form, has at the moment with many more tools to strengthen areas of co-creation. Linked

, is creating space between those who are part of the project and this allows us to interact with consultants from Chile, Mexico, Spain and Peru, with concerns similar to ours. Obviously

Social networks and teams

live very interesting times: it is abuzz with talk of "social networking" ... creating new jobs that did not exist 5 years ago ... the leaders of some companies around the world and look askance teleworking or remote working ... so many things that at some point we considered "science fiction", now are part of our everyday life ... and we have not seen anything ...

Are we prepared to manage teams in a world where Facebook and Twitter are everywhere?
One of the biggest challenges is that the vast majority of business leaders and teams still take the power of social networks ... the other side of the coin is that new employees of companies are young people born in the early 90s that have developed a series of "digital competence" that enables them to handle very well a set of "web 2.0 tools" that their leaders still do not understand how they work, the result can be disastrous in management organizations and has had a huge digital divide between "bosses" and "collaborators."

particular, I am very concerned that organizations are moving within a framework of "white or black" set some absolute prohibitions on the use of social networks while others allow a completely open ... I think that we live in a "world of shades" where you can work under different corporate use of social networks to improve the performance of organizations through significant improvements in individual productivity and team work based on the use of social networking and the "cloud computing" or "cloud computing."

Fact: if you really have to innovation as a high value in our organizations, we look for talent wherever it is ... the social networking and cloud computing bring down any geographical barrier is the problem ... ? we still have too many bosses who need to "see his face" every day to its employees and this goes against any initiative to telework or work remotely you want to accomplish. What more is required in these times is to review our paradigms or, rather, "remove" our outdated paradigms of what it really means "High performance." Remember this: if you think a great idea, chances are that you copy it in less than two hours so the best you can do is live in "constant beta" frequent innovation and customer-focused and / or users of your products, services and experiences. Diversity is the breeding ground for innovation ... not going to get the best if you just concentrate on the people closest to you for what you have to explore all over the world to find the talent needed to be innovative.

Can we take advantage of social networking and cloud computing to improve productivity and performance work teams?

MorphWiz es una de las aplicaciones de música más vendidas in the iTunes Store ... how about the performance of this "mini computer" work? Here is a video demonstration of this application:

propose some ideas to "virtualize" work teams: Facebook

: You can create private groups to maintain a thread of communication between members a team that do not share the same geographic location. These Facebook groups also allow group chats for remote meetings.

GoogleDocs: be exploited as a collaboration tool for teams. Some of these applications allow chats about the document being processed. Additionally, any changes a user makes a document leaves a trail that allows the team leader know who have worked in that document and what has he done specifically.

Yammer: is a kind of "Twitter" but corporate and private use. Can be used to manage remote teams and as a project management tool. Lets share ideas, ask questions, make decisions, share documents, schedule meetings, among many others.

Diigo : your favorite pages stored in the cloud ... has a networking tool that is useful for sharing information between different members of a team and to help you develop ideas together.

Anyway, these are just four general ideas could be implemented to enhance the performance of a team whose members share the same geographic location.

Probably, some people argue that such collaborative work spaces "dehumanize" the teams ... I believe just the opposite: the emotional part of people is always important ... there is nothing that can replace the passion that a person committed to a cause brings to a team.
